Flowers Present: true
Habitat: In drying loamy sand; in sunny pine flatwoods.
Morphology Observations: Rhizomatous.
Notes: Is this species too broadly framed? No. 23672 is in drying loamy sand with Quercus minima and Vaccinium myrsinites in sunny pine flatwoods, whereas no. 23684 is in loamy humus of shallow depression of shaded limestone rock in hardwood hammock. This is rhizomatous, but 23684 has small caudex (related to restrictive site?).
